Number of years in the industry/brief background of experience:
I started my career in the tire and wheel industry back in 2007 when I got my first job at Les Schwab Tire Centers in Lake Stevens, WA. After about 4 years at that location I ended up moving down to Forest Grove, OR to work for Gratteri’s Les Schwab Tire Centers and ended up working down there for about 1 year and 2 months before transferring back home to western Washington. From there I worked for the Monroe, WA Les Schwab Tire Centers for another 8 months before leaving that company to pursue other endeavors until I eventually I found my way back to the tire and wheel industry working for TireBuyer.com starting in November of 2016 and have been here ever since. Throughout my experience I have learned many things including tire and wheel service, steering and suspension service, brake service, alignments, battery service, and how to work as part of an amazing team of people.
What do you enjoy most about your job:
I love learning new things and helping the customers! Being able to share my knowledge and help people understand the products and services and put a smile on their face is really what matters to me. This industry is all about the customer service and helping our customers find the right product that will keep them and their families safe on the road while giving them a wonderful tire and wheel purchasing experience. Additionally, it also helps that I work with such an amazing group of people who share that same ideology which makes it very easy for all us to work well together and do the best that we can to assist the customers.
Fun fact/tips about tires:
Research, research, research! Always make sure to verify your tire size, vehicle information and requirements, and look at the statistics on tires and wheels before placing an order or getting products installed. By doing so you will ensure that your vehicle is as safe as possible with the right fitment of products that have the proper load, speed, tread, and overall performance ratings for the vehicle. Tire shopping can be overwhelming so don’t hesitate to consult a professional before making such a big decision, we are always here to help and will be more than happy to answer your questions and make the best recommendations possible on the products available for your car, truck, SUV, trailer, or lawn equipment!
When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with my wife going on drives and attending car events and shows with the Mini Cooper car group we are a part of! I enjoy working with vehicles, meeting new people, attending concerts, going to the beach, watching Seahawks football and Sounders soccer, going on an occasional hike, and snowboarding in the winter time as well as many other things. I also grew up playing soccer and have even continued to play on adult recreational teams which has also taught me a lot about working as part of a team to reach a common goal.
